The ULTRASAT mission requires sufficient data compression of the images in order to be able to send the entire data stream to the ground. To verify our data compression capabilities, we simulated ULTRASAT images. The simulations include the main noise properties of the images, and the source luminosity function is adopted from GALEX observations.
