Show Notes (thanks to
5H /
2FT):
'Even Flow' is introduced as a song that's called, "...the little piece of
white trashed paper that could." During the 'Androgynous Mind' outro (after
'Daughter'), Ed starts screaming the "hey, hey" part and this relatively small
crowd echoes "hey" back. Ed's fun doublespeak leads into 'Sometimes.' They play
the slow openings to both 'RVM' (which is now most always exquisite ...
although the slow interlude is missing here), and to 'Immortality.'
Back for the encore, Ed tells the crowd they are "bad ass mother fuckers ...
actually that [they] are incredibly polite and welcoming ... and know their
English as well." After introducing Mike, 'I Got Shit' is introduced as a song
they played when they were hanging out with "Young, Neil." After 'State,' Ed
says, "OK, I think we're gonna leave you with the happiest song that we know. I
think there's a lyric in there ... "we miss you already," and that is how we
are gonna feel, leading to 'Smile.' Sweet :)
