Notes (from 5H):
Ed is wearing an "uncle Eddie" t-shirt. Before 'Red Mosquito,' Ed shows his arm
and says, "Can you see this? It's not track marks ... it's mosquito bites..."
'Better Man' is introduced as "this a sad song, but a true song" and Ed was
rocking so hard that he could barely transition into the 'SIFL' tag, really
only getting the "don't let me down" part. 'Parting Ways' ends with Ed doing
huge windmills, and they jam out the end increasing the tempo. Ed thanks the
crowd for the past two nights, and they all agree and clap for the crowd.
At the beginning of the encore, Ed comes out and points down in the pit and
talks about two people down there through the whole show that were sitting
down, acting like they were bored ... "When we went to the room backstage we
all said "did you see those two people down in the front just sitting there!?"
I'm glad they're gone. Earlier I was smelling some pot up here, then I smelled
something REALLY disgusting ... I was thinking maybe it was the pollution ...
but I think it was THEM!"
Beautiful venue, great crowds with just about everyone on their feet through
the whole show and the band really on.
