UK astronomical computing

The impact on and implications for university departments and other UK bodies as a result of the recent and far-reaching PPARC review of UK astronomical computing will be discussed.

The changing role of Starlink in the new era and the evolution of the services that Starlink will offer to the community will be described.

Information on recent Starlink software developments will be given.

It is envisaged that there will be plenty of questions, and plenty of time will be allowed for them. (Questions can also be asked when visiting the Starlink stand in the display area. The Starlink stand will also show demonstrations of Starlink software.)
