Energetic particles from an erupting prominence
Ian Robinson (Birmingham)
The erupting prominence of the 2nd June 1998 was one of the brightest
and clearly defined prominences seen with the LASCO coronagraphs on the
SoHO spacecraft.
The EPAM low energy particle instrument on the ACE spacecraft detected
large particle fluxes which are likely to be associated with this event
The general connection to the event is discussed as are certain
peculiarities in the EPAM data.
