Recent observations of the Kuiper Belt

Almost 200 cometary bodies have now been discovered in the
Kuiper belt beyond Neptune. Although orbital parameters for many
are uncertain, it is now possible to begin studying the basic
characteristics of the population. This talk will describe current
progress in measuring the size distribution and dynamical structure
of the Belt.
