	     THESIS ABSTRACTS IN THE OBSERVATORY MAGAZINE


 The Editors of The Observatory would like to remind newly qualified PhDs
 that we accept thesis abstracts for publication. We will publish abstracts
 from any successfully-examined thesis in astronomy or an astronomy-related
 discipline.  This is an ideal opportunity for any PhD. student to have the
 results of their thesis broadcast quickly to a wide readership.


 Material may be submitted electronically (preferably in LaTeX form) to
 obs@ast.star.rl.ac.uk - a simple Latex template is available on request.
